Chatsworth International Horse Trials Thurs 10th & Fri 11th May 2008
This 2 day event takes place in the beautiful Chatsworth Estate next to the river Derwent. The event attracts many top international riders who compete in the Sunday World Cup qualifier.
The event also offers lots of other family attractions. In the past these have included Pony Club Mounted Games, Sheepdog demonstrations and birds of prey displays, animal petting, face-painting and a huge range of over 100 trade stands.

Chatsworth Country Fair Sat 30th & Sun 31st August 2008
The Country Fair is the highlight of the Chatsworth events calendar. The Fair is one of the countries largest outdoor events and attracts visitors from across the UK and from abroad.
The event offers a huge range of activities and demonstrations. In the past these have included military bands, hot air balloons, vintage car parades, fairground attractions, clay pigeon shooting, ferret racing, archery and sheep dog trials. The show also has over 300 trade and craft stands which people can browse at their leisure.
The show offers good facilities for the elderly and disabled. There are a limited number of motorised wheelchairs which are available to hire if arranged beforehand.

The Rally Show - September 27th-28th 2008
The Rally show takes place on the last weekend of September. The show offers a range of attractions for any car and rally enthusiast. The show features exhibitions from some of the countries largest motoring and motor sports organisations. There is also a range of demonstrations from celebrities and rally stars. For people who own rally cars there is even chance to take part and test your own car and rally driving skills over some of the specially designed stage sessions.

Chatsworth Christmas Season 8th Nov to 23rd Dec 2008
Visit Chatsworth for a magical and colourful Christmas this year. The home is brilliantly transformed in a rich display of colours and light.
