Cascades Gardens - Local Matlock Attractions

Matlock is the county town of Derbyshire, England. Situated in the Peak District the local area offers a wide range of attractions and areas of interest. Matlock lies on the River Derwent. During the industrial revolution the river provided power to a range of mills and factories. The largest of these was built by John Smedley and is currently the offices for Derbyshrie County Council.
