Matlock Bath Illuminations

Matlock Bath Illuminations is a superb event which features beautifully illuminated boats on the Matlock river every Saturday and Sunday evening throughout the duration September and October.

During the Matlock illuminations season, the river banks and the cliffs around them are adorned with illuminated displays on various themes.

Fireworks will also be displayed on certain nights, making Matlock illuminations a truly remarkable event. This year, the Matlock Bath illuminations 2011 event will be opened on 3rd September, with a grand switch-on which will take place in Derwent Gardens at 8pm. The Matlock illuminations event will run until Saturday 29th October.
